Each year I eagerly await the blooms of these magnificent flowers. 
You might see some in walks about the city, and beyond. 
For next year, I also suggest taking in the Irises at the Botanical Gardens at City Park, and Longue View House and Gardens.

For numerous years, I've been a member of the New Orleans Iris Society and
​I recommend this group to serious gardeners.

Lafitte is both magical and mysterious.
